Who we Are
We’re a bunch of passionate people who love what we do, blending years of experience with a real appreciation for both the digital world of today and the charm of the analog past. Founded by Sydney locals Ronnie S. Riskalla and Matt Bonnici, this whole thing started because of their shared love for digital tech and a deep respect for the memories and history that analog formats hold. We are a couple of unique, sentimental and nostalgic guys who live in the past and the future.
Between us, we’ve got nearly 30 years of experience in digitisation and media, which means we know how to handle your precious memories like they’re our own. We’ll make sure they’re brought into the digital age with care and skill.
Our team is a bit of a dream combo, offering a wide range of skills in areas like digitisation, film and TV production, post-production, and media preservation. This means we can cater to pretty much anyone—whether you’re an individual, a creator, a small or large business and everything in-between.
We’ve got award-winning filmmakers on board who’ve spent over 25 years working with 35mm film and digital cinema. They’ve done it all, from being cinema projectionists to technical managers, so they also know the ins and outs of 8mm film, video and audio digitisation, and image and document scanning like the back of their hand.
We’ve handled some big projects too—think digital delivery and quality control for hundreds of feature films and TV series for major names like Netflix, Amazon, and Hollywood studios, not to mention the local Australian film industry. We’re talking high-level stuff for the Asia-Pacific region.
We’ve also been behind some pretty cool special event film screenings and have worked directly with filmmakers and distributors both here and across the globe.
On top of all that, we’ve got some serious technical skills when it comes to business systems, web design, workflows, and digital infrastructure. Basically, we make sure everything runs smoothly, securely, and with attention to every last detail.
